The Best Super Bowl Sunday Drinks
The Titans didn’t make it to the Super Bowl this year, so it looks like we’re rooting for a great game and some festive drinks. Whether you’re pulling for the Rams, the Bengals, or the halftime show and commercials, we have the best drinks to make you forget your team isn’t in it and enjoy some football.
Typically our orange drinks represent the Vols, but we’re turning these into Bengal drinks this weekend. So whether you’re looking for a tailgate beverage or new football drinks, these orange libations will get you in the mood to cheer.
The first drink on the list is our Gold Rush. You’ll mix two oz. of Mitchum’s Premium Corn Whiskey, one oz. of honey syrup, and one oz. of lemon juice in a shaker and pour over ice. This deep orange whiskey rush is the perfect way to spruce up a glass of whiskey and make it gameday-ready.
If you’re looking for something a little lighter, we recommend the classic screwdriver. This beloved morning-to-afternoon drink is refreshing and easy to put together for a big group. Just add our 80 proof Dumplin Creek Vodka to a pitcher with the orange juice of your choice, and you’re set and ready to enjoy the game. With almost no preparation time and a delightful finish, you can make this multiple times throughout the day. Ratios are subject to personal preference, but please drink responsibly!
If you’re rooting for the Rams or just want something blue, our Blue Margarita is all you need. You’ll combine 1 ½ oz of Tail of the Dragon tequila with one oz. of Blue Curacao. Shake and pour into salt-rimmed glasses and top with a lime wedge.
If you are just looking for a southern party drink, let us introduce you to our Peach Arnold Palmer. This simple drink packs a big, southern punch. You’ll combine two oz. of Dumplin Creek Red Haven Peach Moonshine with two oz. of lemonade and two oz. of sweet tea. Shake and pour into a mason jar filled with lemons and ice. It’s tasty enough to sip on all night and goes well with all of your game-day snacks.
At Old Tennessee Distilling Company, we’ll use any excuse to come up with new cocktails, and there are few better than the biggest sporting event of the year. So raise a glass to a great game, great friends, and great drinks. Then, stop by and see us before Sunday to stock up on anything you need to have the best-tasting drinks on the block.
