What to Expect When You Visit Old Tennessee Distilling Co.
Whether you’re driving to or from the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge, there’s one stop you need to include on your trip: Old Tennessee Distilling Company. Old TN is right off interstate I-40, at exit 407, and it’ll be your favorite part of your trip.
We feature our vast selection of spirits throughout the distillery, and for a good reason! We offer free tastings of any of our products because we want you to know you love them before you buy. Our tastings are offered from 10 am – 9 pm, Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 10 pm on Saturday, and 10 am – 7 pm on Sunday. That way, you know exactly what you’re bringing home (or on vacation!) with you. We also offer $5 cocktails to give you a much-needed break from that long drive. We do, of course, ask all customers to drink responsibly.
While you’re walking around, tasting, and stocking up, you can meet one of our great distillers! Our distilling process is done in three simple steps:
Step 1: We mix our corn, sugar, yeast, and water to create the best moonshine. Our secret ingredient is the pride each of our distillers holds in their hearts for this great tradition.
Step 2: The above combination is made on-site, through handmade and homegrown means, in a way that respects the past and honors the future, all while living in the moment.
Step 3: This part is for you. When at Old Tennessee, we want you to take a moment, take a sip, and get a taste for Tennessee – no matter where you call home.

From moonshine to whiskey, vodka, tequila, rum, and more, we have everything you need to stock up on your favorite libations. We carry our products year-round, but you’ll find seasonal favorites like our Watermelon Falls, Summer Strawberry, and Little River Lemon moonshines, perfect for spring and summer. Of course, it’s still cold, and many of us are missing the holidays, so feel free to stock up on our Chocolate Merriment and S’more moonshine or our Happy Holiday Nog cream liqueur.
