Thunder Road Distillery Grand Opening Weekend

Thunder Road Distillery is more than just great moonshine, whiskey and rum. It has the heritage of our east Tennessee mountains instilled in every single drop. You’re invited to the grand opening of Thunder Road Distillery Friday through Sunday, September 18 – 20th. We’re located at I-40 exit 407 next to Bass Pro Shop, making it easy for you to stop in for a free taste. You can also take advantage of our special $19.58 pricing on all moonshine, rum and corn whiskey products to honor the 1958 premiere of the movie ‘Thunder Road’ starring Robert Mitchum. This special deal is only good for this grand opening weekend, so be sure you come by and carry some home. You’ll also be able to learn about the history of moonshine running and talk to Dwight, our legendary master distiller. He’s been making moonshine for 53 years and has hundreds of stories to tell.
