Celebrate the First Day of Fall with the Best Fall Drinks

This year, the Fall Equinox lands on September 22nd, making it the first official day of fall. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite drinks to enjoy while you partake in your favorite fall activities – from hosting a bonfire to watching football games, carving pumpkins, or raking leaves, these drinks will add that extra dash of autumn to your day.

Spiked Apple Cider

This easy, classic fall drink is a great way to kick off the season and relax with a few friends.

½ C. Cal F. Johnson Black Mountain Rum

½ C. cinnamon snaps

4 C. apple cider

1 apple peeled and cut into large chunks

½ lemon, juiced

Instructions:

Mix the rum, snaps, and cider in a Crock Pot or large pot on the stove for 3-4 hours. Add the apple chunks to a bowl and toss them with the lemon juice. Thread the sliced apples onto skewers. Pour the spiked cider into a mug. Garnish with the skewered apple slices.

Peach Cobbler Moonshine

Our peach moonshine puts peach cobbler to the test – trust us.

1 ½ C. Dumplin Creek Red Haven Peach Moonshine

0.5-gallon white grape juice

½ C. peach juice

1 C. brown sugar

3-4 ripe peaches, peeled

3 cinnamon sticks

Mint for garnish

Instructions:

Add the juices, brown sugar, peaches, and cinnamon sticks to a large pot. Bring to a boil for 3-4 minutes or until the brown sugar has dissolved. Allow the mixture to sit until it is room temperature. After the mixture has cooled, add in the peach moonshine and stir. Serve over ice with a peach and mint garnish.

Apple Pie Moonshine

Apple pie screams fall, but we’re here to take it a step further with our apple pie moonshine.

4 oz Dumplin Creek Apple Pie Moonshine

4 oz apple juice

2 oz simple syrup

1 TBS cinnamon

1 oz lemon juice

Apple slices for garnish

Cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions:

Shake the apple pie moonshine, apple juice, simple syrup, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain and serve in a glass with ice. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
