Try These Seasonal Cocktails This Fall
Okay, we know summer is still holding on, and many of us aren’t ready to say goodbye just yet, but a flavor-bursting fall drink will help you feel prepared for the colder months.
Our spirits of choice? We love the warming characteristics of whiskey, brandy, dark rum, and autumnal moonshine at this time of year. Browse our recipes for ideas on how to put your liquor collection to good use.
Old Tennessee Autumn Coffee
We start with something simple yet delicious. This riff on Irish coffee is versatile: Enjoy it with a cinnamon roll or save it for later in the evening next to a roaring fire.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Dumplin Creek Autumn Maple Moonshine
- 0.75 oz. Irish cream
- Hot coffee
Combine the ingredients in your favorite mug, find a cozy corner, and thank us later.
S’Mores and Cream
Whether you enjoy this cocktail at home or in the great outdoors around a crackling fire, the S’mores and Cream is a real crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. Dumplin Creek S’mores Moonshine
- 4 oz. vanilla creamer
Combine the moonshine and creamer and serve over ice. To level up the S’mores and Cream, dust the rim of your glass with brown sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, or a flavoring of your choice.
White Cuban
This cocktail is all spice, warmth, and indulgence. It uses only three ingredients and is so simple to make that you can put it on the menu for your holiday party and impress your guests effortlessly. This recipe uses rum from our Cal F. Johnson range, inspired by the Tennessee legend himself.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Black Mountain Spiced Rum
- 3 oz. cold brewed coffee
- 1 oz. French vanilla creamer
- Combine the creamer and coffee in a tumbler and finish with spiced rum.
Whiskey Sour
We know this one is an all-year-rounder, but it’s also a firm fall favorite. It embraces the last freshness of summer with warmth from the whiskey and a little added vitamin C to prep us for the cold.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Butcher’s Bourbon
- 0.75 oz. lemon juice
- 0.5 oz. simple syrup
- 3 dashes of bitters
- Combine the ingredients and pour into a tumbler over ice. Garnish with a cinnamon stick for additional Fall vibes.
