Football Season is Back – Here Are Our Top Tailgate Drinks!
Football season is back, and with the excitement of football also comes the joy of tailgating and drinking with friends. Whether you are enjoying a drink at a tailgate or having a watch party at home, Old Tennessee Distillery Co. wants to help you celebrate the return of football season with some of our favorite drinks, perfect for any Vol fan.
The Orange Dreamsicle
This drink is excellent to share with a group of people while watching the game.
2 C. Dumplin Creek Orange Dreamsicle Moonshine
1 C. Dumplin Creek French Vanilla Moonshine
1-gallon orange juice (no pulp)
1 ½ C. granulated sugar
½ C. French vanilla coffee creamer
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a large container and stir well to combine. Place in the refrigerator. Serve in cups with ice.
Smoky Sunrise
An easy, make-ahead drink to enjoy while tailgating.
2 C. Dumplin Creek Toasted Mango Moonshine
½ C. Dumplin Creek Frost Moonshine
½ C. Dumplin Creek Moonshine Pineapples
4 C. pineapple juice
3 C. mango juice
6 oz. grenadine
Lime wedge for garnishing
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a large container with ice. Pour into a cup and serve with a lime wedge.
Smoked Pineapple Bourbon Sour
The perfect drink to enjoy while at home, watching the game.
2 oz Butcher’s Bourbon
½ oz Aperol
½ oz simple syrup
¾ oz lemon juice
4-5 seared pineapple chunks
2-3 dashes of aromatic bitters
Instructions:
Slice and prepare pineapple wheels—smoke and sear pineapple on a grill. Remove pineapple when grill marks appear and slice into smaller chunks for the cocktail. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, muddle pineapple chunks, add ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into glass and add seared pineapple for garnish.

In celebration of the Volunteers, mix up an easy, quick drink to enjoy with a few friends.
3 oz Tuckaleechee Vodka
1.5 oz Triple Sec
¼ C. orange juice (or 1 fresh-squeezed orange)
1 can orange soda (can be substitute with sprite or ginger ale)
Orange slices for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a glass with ice and add the ingredients in order. Stir and top with orange slices.
Beer Margarita
We’re adding a twist on a tailgate classic with our beer margarita!
½ C. chilled Dragon Tail Tequila
2 (12-oz) bottles of your favorite beer
½ C. frozen concentrated limeade, thawed
¼ C. coarse salt
Lime for garnish
Instructions:
Rub lime wedges around the rims of 4 margarita glasses. Dip rims into salt and coat lightly. In a medium container, combine tequila, beer, and limeade. Mix all liquid and add ice to the glasses. Pour mixture into glasses and top with lime.
