Winners at the ADI International Spirits Competition

At Old Tennessee Distilling Company, we love giving customers a taste of Tennessee history, distilling premium spirits, and creating moonshine for every occasion. We take pride in respecting the distilling traditions of the past, producing farm-to-bottle liquor enjoyed by customers from all over the country with their friends and family. 

Nevertheless, it’s also great when our hard work reaps rewards like our most recent win at the American Distilling Institute’s (ADI) International Spirits Competition. We were honored to be awarded best of class in the Distilled Spirits category. The winning entry? Our Lemon Ice Cookie Liquor. What is the American Distilling Institute? 

The ADI is the world’s largest trade association for small-batch craft distilleries. Founded in 2003, the association is the leader in craft spirits. Providing independent distillers with community and networking opportunities, the ADI promotes research, education, and industry development to increase the quality and variety of boutique craft spirits. 

The annual ADI International Spirits Competition takes place over three days. Fifty judges evaluate approximately 1,000 spirits, and entries come from all over the world, including Australia, Barbados, France, Japan, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The competition is stiff, and the ADI and its judges maintain the highest standards; only the very best can win. 

So, our team was delighted to take home the Best of Class award for our Lemon Ice Cookie cream liquor and to receive recognition for our Tennessee Whiskey and our Tennessee Bourbon Honey Cask Finish.
