Festive Fourth of July Cocktails
If you’re spending time with friends and family and enjoying delicious barbeque from the grill this Fourth of July, the only thing that’s missing is an ice-cold cocktail. Crafting up some patriotic drinks is just what you need to take your Fourth of July celebration to the next level. We’ve put together a few of our favorite red, white, and blue boozy drinks that are perfect for your holiday backyard barbeque.
Firecracker Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 shot Dumplin Creek vodka
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 shot raspberry syrup
- 1 shot blue raspberry syrup
Instructions:
- Pour the raspberry syrup into a tall champagne glass. Next, fill the glass with the crushed ice before pouring in the shot of vodka. The vodka and raspberry syrup will begin to mix slightly. Right before serving, add in the shot of blue raspberry syrup for an incredible red, white, and blue firecracker look! View the full recipe and images of the drink here.
Red, White, and Boozy Sangria
Ingredients:
- Two bottles dry white wine
- 1/2 cup Dumplin Creek vodka
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup Tail of the Dragon triple sec
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1 ½ cups fresh pineapple chunks
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and stir well until combined. Keep chilled and serve over ice in a glass with fresh fruit. For an even more festive look, use star-shaped cookie cutters to create star-shaped pineapple chunks.
Star-Spangled Cocktail
Ingredients:
- Fresh blackberries
- ¾ oz blueberry cream liqueur
- 1 ½ oz Tail of the Dragon tequila
- ½ oz honey or agave nectar
- ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
Instructions:
- Muddle 5 fresh blackberries, honey or agave, and blueberry cream liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Once combined, add in the tequila and lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain the contents into a cocktail glass and garnish with fresh blackberries.
