BOO-zy Drinks for an Old Tennessee Halloween
At Old Tennessee, October is not just filled with football for us, it is also a time where we love to get spooky for the upcoming Halloween celebration. October 31 is the one day of the year where you have an excuse to make your drinks as over-the-top and creative as possible. We love making Halloween cocktails with our spirits, so why not play mixologist this October with some of these BOO-zy cocktails. See what we did there?
Zombie Juice
.5 oz Dumplin Creek Gin
.5 oz Tuckaleechee Vodka
.5 oz Thunder Road Renegade Rum
.5 oz Tail of the Dragon Triple Sec
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
2 strawberries, muddled
Muddle strawberries with lemon juice and simple syrup. Add other ingredients with ice. Shake. Garnish with a strawberry.
The Monster Smash
1.5 oz Dumplin Creek Vodka
.5 oz simple syrup
1.5 oz tonic
Juice of 1 lime
5 grapes
Muddle grapes in a shaker and add vodka, simple syrup, lime and ice then shake. Pour over fresh ice and top with tonic water.
Dark and Stormy
2 oz. Tuckaleechee Gin
1 oz. pomegranate juice
½ oz. simple syrup
Cube of dry ice
Combine gin, juice, and syrup into a shaker with ice then serve with a cube of dry ice.
